Trent’s Wildcat Adventures

Trent Barclay is a dedicated zoo keeper and good all-round kiwi-bloke. Since featuring on ‘The Zoo’ he’s fast become a family favourite – and there’s no doubt his passion for wild cats has helped win the hearts of viewers.

In this exciting new series, Trent travels to the wilds of South Africa where he embarks on an adventure of a lifetime – encountering his beloved wild cats up close and personal in their natural habitat.   Trent is on a fact-finding mission like no other…..meeting people like him who are crazy about cats, and discovering all there is to know about these amazing animals…. Along the way Trent embarks on some amazing adventures, not only meeting wild cats such as servals, cheetahs, lions, leopards and jaguars, but also encountering many other magnificent South African fauna.

The filming of the show was more than just an adventure for Trent, who says, "The show was a realization of a long-time dream to travel to Africa and see these beautiful wild cats on their home turf. It was a very humbling and inspiring experience, and I hope that viewers are going to enjoy the journey with me."
