A most unusual action docu soap in which the stars have four legs, super- sensitive noses and bite! Recent figures confirm violent crime is on the increase and police forces are increasingly turning to dogs to help them keep the peace. There are around 3,000 police dogs in operation today. Each with their own history andpersonality. They also have a handler and this series is about those relationships as much as the crimes and incidents they get involved in.

Considered to be police in their own right, dogs are now on the front line of policing, playing major roles in terrorist operations, sieges and armed raids. They police airports, football matches and coastlines, hunting for missing people, dead bodies and escaped prisoners. Our dog teams will be filmed on real operations, fighting real criminals!

As cops on the ground become scarcer, police forces are increasingly turning to dogs to hold keep order. Dogs now go where officers fear to tread. Recent figures confirm that violent crime is on the increase and with that rise comes a greater use of the words “Send in The Dogs”. Our dog teams will be filmed on real operations, fighting real criminals and finding drugs, explosives, cash and contraband. They will fly in helicopters, take part in high speed car chases and wear cameras to flush out armed robbers.

For the first time, a TV audience will be able to engage with animals involved in real life or death situations and see how real criminals are caught by clever dogs. This series will both enthral and engage the audience.
