How To Renovate A Chateau (without killing your Partner)

As a young family of four, in 2019 we left the city to follow our dream of a new life in the French country side. We fell in love with the charming Chateau Gonneville sur Honfleur situated on the beautiful Normandy coast and since then we’ve thrown all our life savings into this project in order to restore this 18th century building, create a perfect family home and a welcoming place for our guests.

In the last year, we worked tirelessly and we’ve already given everything to restore part of the Chateau. We manged to open three guest rooms and all the profits from our guesthouse business are immediately reinvested into new renovation projects for the Chateau itself, the outbuildings and the gardens. We are devoted to make the chateau as stunning and personal as possible, strive to learn new skills, and — as a designer and a film maker, love to share this adventure.
