More Curious
Look at the objects around you: each of them has a history, a purpose and a certain mechanism of action. Ever wonder how stuff works or where they came from? Well wonder no more — find out about the inner workings and origins of everyday things as well explanations for ideas and concepts that surround us.
“More Curious” is a series of documentaries that tell us a lot of interesting facts about the most common things that we encounter in everyday life.
Each series has seven different objects or phenomena about which you will learn something new. From the usual things which you interact every day (your passport, asphalt on the roads, washing machine, knots on the laces of your shoes) to the planets of the solar system. Learn more about the human body: what determines the blood pressure, how our memory works and where dreams come from.
Ever wonder where and when the first books appeared, who came up with how to attach rolls and skate to them, what is the key secret of preparing the most delicious dishes, how exactly do the bridges stay on the banks and maintain their stability? This documentary series will answer your questions and give something new to think about.
