The Delinquent Gourmet features Gord Martin and Rodney Bowers, two experienced and highly trained Master Chefs who strongly believe that the best way to understand exotic cultures is through their way of cooking. Each episode follows one of these chefs as they explore the culture, traditions and cuisine of one city in a different country, immersing themselves with the locals to get to the heart of their food. Our hosts taste the local dishes, discover the history behind them and learn how they’re made. These experiences happen at a variety of locations around the city — from festivals and markets to restaurants and the homes of the locals who live there. Whether it’s Chef Gord tasting Iguana meat in Belize or Chef Rodney rolling couscous balls in Morocco, each show feels like an organic travelogue.
