Joe’s goal is to unlock each designer’s true potential and re-ignite their love for the fashion industry. Each designer reached a level of success with their line but they’ve encountered a road block that could mean the end of the line for them. Joe steps in during this crisis and workd with the designers to prepare them to present their new revitalized line to a buyer who can make or break their dreams of success. This just may be their last chance to transform cutting room concepts into rack ready fashions. With a make or break presentation to a buyer looming, it’s All On The Line.

Episode 1. KARA JANX: THAT DRESS IS GREAT IF YOUR’E GOING TO PROM WITH JUSTIN BIEBER.

Since Kara Janx’s appearance on Project Runway, she has struggled to be recognized as a real designer and not just a reality TV star. Joe thinks Kara needs a signature look that can fit women of all shapes and sizes and hopes a trip to the gym will inspire her to style for all body types. Joe also introduces Kara to famed fashion designers Viktor & Rolf, who are best known for their strong point of view. After much consideration of what women really want, Kara presents her final product to Neiman Marcus - but will she be able to transcend her reality star image behind and move forward as a designer?

Episode 2. GEMMA KAHNG: I WANT A WOMAN TO LOOK A LITTLE MAD MAX AND A LITTLE PRINCESS.

Gemma Kahng was once an iconic designer who took the fashion world by storm in the ’90s, but after years of slowing sales she is struggling to make herself relevant again. Joe Zee thinks he can help, but fears Gemma won’t be willing to ditch her outdated designs, or troublesome staff, and create a new look. Joe calls on Norma Kamali, one of the most powerful women in the fashion industry who’s had first-hand experience in reinventing her line. Kamali shares her success secrets and encourages Gemma to fight her way back into fashion fame.

Episode 3. DANA-MAXX: IT’S TIME TO GROW UP.

Dana-Maxx took the fashion world by storm with a meteoric explosion on the scene. Although she was selected as Women Wear Daily’s ‘hot new designer,’ and had enormous success, Dana-Maxx's company is now losing money every year. With her parents financing the line entirely, it’s time for Dana- Maxx to grow up. Joe Zee thinks Dana-Maxx is in need of a business makeover - her staff is too large and her price points unattainable. He arranges for her to meet with fashion entrepreneur and start up business expert Liza Deyrmenjian, who schools Dana-Maxx on turning a profit in fashion, but when Dana-Maxx is unprepared for her buyers meeting at Bergdorf Goodman, will she get a second chance to turn it all around?

Episode 4. LEILA SHAMS- EVERYONE IS INVITED TO THE PANTS PARTY EXCEPT ME.

It won’t be lack of talent that will rip Leila Shams’s line to threads; it will be her lack of professionalism. After the struggling designer sells her apartment to keep her line afloat, Leila turns to Joe Zee as a last cry for help. Joe is confident in her design ability, but her sloppy construction and poor presentation is cause for concern. He hopes a trip to Coney Island will be the inspiration Leila needs to create an entire new collection for her buyers meeting with NYC fashion hotspot, Intermix, but quickly learns that old habits die hard when she shows up with unfinished dresses.

Episode 5. JULIA ALARCON: IT’S LIKE A WEIRD FREAKY FRIDAY MOMENT.

Julia Alarcon is passionate designer and is desperate to have a career in fashion. Joe Zee recognizes her potential, but has a lot of advice that he’s not sure Julia is ready to take. He thinks her designs are inappropriate and too risqué for the women she is designing for and recommends she start fresh. His vision for her line is to become the new “working woman” wardrobe, but he needs Julia to jump on board. Although the thought of starting over is overwhelming, she knows it’s now or never when Joe sets up a buyers meeting with Nordstrom.

Episode 6. ANGELO LAMBROU - Your Dream Turned into My Nightmare

Fashion has been a rollercoaster ride for Angelo Lambrou, from leaving his home country of Botswana to opening a boutique in New York City. Having made his mark designing for Ms. Universe, Angelo is known for amazing wedding dresses and couture designs. Now, his lack of leadership and uninspired ready-to-wear looks have brought him to the brink of failure. Enter Joe Zee. Determined to spark Angelo to take control of his collection, Joe has him design a showstopping wedding dress for renowned bridal designers, Badgley Mischka. But when Angelo arrives two hours late to a buyer’s appointment with Edit, Joe wonders if all his efforts have been in vain.

Episode 7. KATHY & ERIK WILSON - It’s Like Interview with the Vampire

Kathy Wilson Atelier has designed clothes for celebrities such as Michelle Pfeiffer and Stevie Wonder, but now they’ve hit a roadblock in the cutthroat world of ready-to-wear. Kathy and husband/business manager, Erik, have put their personal lives on hold as they struggle to keep their brand afloat. In steps Joe Zee to guide the couple in focusing on their women’s collection and transforming it from matronly to hip. To complete the alteration, Joe arranges for them to design an outfit for American Idol star, Adam Lambert. Will Kathy and Erik soak up enough of Joe’s expertise and advice from some customers to impress the buyers from Scoop NYC?

Cesar Galindo is a veteran of the fashion industry who has worked for the biggest labels in the world, including Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana. But the loss of his business and life partner to cancer completely consumed him. Still picking up the pieces of his life, Cesar only recently decided to get back into fashion with a new line. Joe hopes to rekindle Cesar’s creative spirit and help him move beyond his devastation to a positive future. To help Cesar rediscover his passion, Joe brings in Veronica Webb, the iconic supermodel, to evaluate his work. A pending buyer’s meeting with Cusp will be the ultimate test if Cesar is truly ready to begin the next phase of his career.

Nicole Miller is a giant in the fashion industry with dozens of boutiques and multiple major lines sold in department stores across the country. But is the brand reaching its full potential? It may be missing out on the valuable 20 - 30 year old trendy female customer and in need of some tweaking to be a force in that market. Joe Zee works with Nicole to repackage the line and better understand the woman she wants to design for. The pressure builds as Nicole prepares for New York Fashion Week, where celebrities and the media will be the ultimate judge of whether she has successfully reinvented her line.
