“Lights, Camera, Animals” is a witty observational documentary series following the worlds best trainers as they take animals on a journey to appear in films, television programmes and commercials.

You will learn wether it was difficult for a dog called Monkey who starred as Hagrid's dog Fang in “Harry Potter” to bark on command; how to train horses not to be afraid of shots on the set and fearlessly run through the fire; whether it was easy to teach squirrels from “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” to crack nuts one by one; how a good-natured pet can turn into a dangerous monster in a second. Among the main characters of the series there are some unusual stars such as albino rats, corn snakes, pigs and a goat.

The programme will show you the very first and unsteady steps in acting, the difficulties that trainers have to overcome to make animals do what is necessary. From time to time these four-footed actors manage to perform so well that nobody has expected such wonderful results.
