Since the time of Aristotle we have consoled ourselves with the postulate: man is distinguished from animals by the presence of reason. However, this series calls into question our dominant position in the intellectual hierarchy. Recent research proves that animals can remember, imitate and even dream. They have their own language and intuition. They can change their behavior in certain situations, use tools and create a social organization. All this requires mental action and mobilization of the intellect. In other words, talking about the mind of animals is not as absurd as it seems.
