Saving the Wild

Follow vets and conservationists as they explore the unique characteristics of the big cat, and the man-made threats to the animal and its habitat. We visit a game reserve situated within the boundaries of a large metropolis, that has a unique model for future conservation with people and wild animals living together. Yet, there are undeniable challenges of this model, revealed during a breakout of lions. New techniques show us that the future looks bright. However, a lot of work is still necessary and each and every life counts for the future of the species.
