A new series of the hugely popular Corrigan Knows Food kicks off where we see Richard beginning his culinary quests around Eastern Europe and Ireland. Richard has spent a few months travelling around Ireland and Eastern Europe to bring you a mouth-watering show full of artisan food producers, innovative recipes and celebrity kitchen adventures.

During the series, Richard meets a variety of skilled artisan food producers in Eastern Europe. These include Stanislaw Madry, a famous Polish sausage maker who ran an underground sausage business during the Communist Era, and Anna Surmacz, an award winning Polish bread maker, whose breads are on the list of Polish Culinary Heritage.

Richard also journeys across Ireland in his eco friendly car, visiting some of Ireland's most renowned food producers. He visits the historical Flahavan's oat mill in Waterford, and TJ Crowe's organic pig farm in Tipperary. As always Richard's passion for fresh seasonal and 'slow' food producers is key.

However, the real stars of the show are the recipes. Created by Richard himself and showcasing the very best of Irish food, his are mouth-watering creations cooked by one of Ireland's most popular chefs.
