Think packing up and moving house is stressful? Imagine moving THE ENTIRE building - brick walls, chimney, furniture - the whole lot, in one piece! Sound tough? Well it’s nothing compared with the daunting challenges faced by the extreme engineers of “Huge Moves”.

In this dramatic show, we follow the adventures of huge movers across Britain, North America, Sweden, South Africa and Egypt as they transport monstrous structures that were never meant to leave their foundations. From a colossal cathedral and a giant locomotive, to a humungous homestead and even an entire town, nothing is off limits. With a myriad of massive moves spanning both land and sea, every episode of “Huge Moves” exposes the kind of logistical nightmares and innovative engineering it takes to successfully transport such gargantuan constructions - towers and walls need to be secured, roofs dismantled, windows preserved, chimneys braced, roads widened and trees trimmed - anything to ensure a smooth transport, even if means ripping out a few road signs along the way!

Practically nothing is too daunting a challenge for our huge movers. Big thinking and brash, these guys work from experience and instinct, taking on projects, which others would run away from. They slice and dice mansions with chainsaws, hoist church spires with helicopters, haul locomotives with bulldozers, risking life and limb to get the job done. Adding to the pressure, these massive moves are races against time, tide and a whole lot of red tape!

As movers embark on their perilous journey, struggling to transport their cargo over risky routes and through wicked weather, we capture every adrenaline packed moment on film. Featuring innovative technologies and filled with nail biting real-life action, each show presents a variety of great characters, spectacular CGI and phenomenal time-lapsed sequencing. Viewers will be enthralled to see just how huge these moves really are!
