Ancient Megastructures

Over the centuries human civilizations have erected grandiose structures designed to be symbols of greatness, strength and power. Today these buildings continue to be monuments of their eras, striking the imagination and forcing us to turn our eyes to them again and again. The three episodes of the series are devoted to three great buildings, which visibly embodied the human genius of three different eras: the Roman Colosseum, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and Chartres Cathedral in France.
